I am convinced that the largest disparity between Columbus and Cincinnati restaurants lies in the architectural and interior design. I had the pleasure of visiting this primarily sushi restaurant and was impressed with the Asian inspired and themed sand and stone features in the patio area, as well as throughout the various rooms which were cleverly partitioned creating privacy and diverse moods for each space. Wednesday night is ‘half price’ sushi night, so Wednesday it was!

And now for the food: top row ‘Crazy Tuna Roll’ tuna, avocado inside, spicy tuna, tempura flakes, caviar outside; then clockwise, ‘Dynamite Roll’ salmon, tuna, yellowtail with sriracha sauce; Spicy Scallop, sake sashimi, tuna sashimi, and finally yellowtail roll.

There was also something offered named the “Cowboy Roll” grilled new york strip steak, steamed spinach, goat cheese, soy-ponzu sauce; but my dining companion and I were feeling conservative, so we opted out of ordering it.

Ambience rates higher than the fare, but the latter was delectable and beautifully presented in any case.
