On a recent trip to the Northstar Cafe, my wife ordered their Grilled Artichoke. To many of you loyal readers, this probably does not sound too satisfying but trust me, this was an amazing dish. I didn’t capture any pictures but I’ll be returning to the Northstar Cafe shortly for another sampling of their Artichoke starter and a full report.
I also finally tried the Northstar Cafe’s guacamole dip with chips. The guacamole at Chipotle is the only thing that keeps me returning on a monthly basis to that Mexican Burrito Factory. More often than not, Chipotle has had to cut into some not quite ripe avocados to satisfy the hordes of burrito eaters out there in Columbus. Unripened avocados don’t cut it with me. This doesn’t seem to be a problem at the Northstar. Their guacamole is very tasty and aged just right although it lacks the kick that Chipotle’s has. Anyhow, just wanted to provide a quick update on my latest food doings. Full report to follow soon.
