It was the special of the evening so why not - let's give it a shot. I again started with the roasted beet salad which was almost as good as the last time. My first Delmonico was overcooked. I had ordered a tad under medium and got close to that on the inside but the outside was a bit charred. The waiter came by and asked how it was and I told him exactly that. He took it back (note here - never be shy about asking them to do it again if the first time was no good) and came back with my second Delmonico. This was much better cooked to order but extremely fatty. My companion insists that if they would have cooked it more, it would have been less fatty. Maybe I should have stuck with the first one?!
