Krishna’s Lamb Curry with Raita
I’ve always been a sucker for Indian food and I’ve always loved little hole in the wall places. Krishna fits the bill on both counts. Krishna is a tiny Indian restaurant with perhaps seating for 16. As you walk in, there are seats on the right and the counter and kitchen to the left. In between is a narrow aisle, and that’s pretty much the extent of Krishna, at least on a spacial level. On a culinary level, Krishna serves up some fine Indian cuisine. On this particular visit, I ordered up the Lamb Curry, Raita, and some Vegetable Samosas. All are served without pretension in foam containers and with plastic utensils (in keeping with the restaurant’s spartan atmosphere). If I could eat Indian food on a daily basis, I would be here everyday. The food was excellent as usual and at a reasonable price. I got out of there minus only about 13 bills. Hope to see you soon, Krishna.
