The St. Marcellin Cheese on their wine crackers is simply divine, out of this world. For all the little tastes they give you, they certainly make up for if you decide that you simply cannot leave the place without taking some reminder of the morsel they have so generously bestowed upon you; many types of breads for taste, at least two feature cheeses, something sweet or pickly sometimes, and always several vinegars and 50 dollar olive oil to dip your baguette slice into...all while you wait to place and pick up your order. I like the old #47 (Toby's Tummy Pleaser) substituting scallion cream cheese for plain, on pumpernickel bread vs a bagel, making a divine combination with the tomato, onion, egg salad, and smoked salmon. Another goodie is the whitefish salad, that I find overwhelming in a sandwich, but as an appetizer inside a seeded avocado, or on a bland cracker, simply out of this world. Some things in life, you just have to take a little bit at a time. This is one of them. The turtle brownie makes a nice dessert. They also have beautifully packaged ginger snaps, various chocolates, tapenades, marinated this and that, that make great little gifts. I saw three hundred dollar gift baskets during Christmas that would make an impressive gift for a boss. Don't expect to make it out of there without spending close to 20 dollars per person for a modest meal. It is totally worth the experience.
