A little shimmy, shimmy, shaky-poo with your Babaganoush?

Bloviator Joe convinced us at the finerepast racing team to return to Cafe Shish Kebab for another dining experience. I thought it was a little odd to run into his brother at the bar. Halfway into our meal, the lights dimmed and the bass started pumping out some Middle Eastern techno. Then, out of nowhere, floats the exotic and mysterious Yasmilah into our midst. Bloviator Joe had set us up for the Cafe Shish Kebab belly dancing extravaganza where even male staff members get into the act and rock to the belly dancing beat (at various levels of competence but hey, it was all in good fun). And Babaganoush tastes that much better with Coke . . .

and belly dancing.

And it sure beat the Middle Eastern version of Hotel California that frequently makes the Sheesh cafe rock rotation.
