Per the nice young woman who answered Taboo's phone* on 10/29/2008, they "closed their kitchen permanently a couple of months ago." I made that phone call to verify what I had been told ("They don't serve food.") by someone in-person at Taboo just earlier that day (I had to physically stop by [before they opened but while someone was there cleaning] because I couldn't reach anyone on the phone).

I had unfortunately wanted to dine there and had purchased a gift cert (through a "Half Price Deal" type of online sale [via radio stations] and fulfilled by the fine folks @ Neofill)... only to learn that now I couldn't get a meal @ Taboo (and I wasn't looking to "drink" my entire gift certificate). I gave a shot and contacted Neofill and they were very courteous, listening and helping me with a possible solution.

All that being said, the decor of Taboo is very cool/mod... the design (from architecture/structural aspects, to furnishings, to color scheme, to lighting) all seems very well done. I'd like to go back some night and check it out when I'm more in the mood for a lounge/dance club scene (which is their sole form/business now) is in full swing.

* Their ph is listed on their website as 614-885-6666... which, BTW, during Taboo's non-open hours, kept taking me to a voice mailbox belonging to "Luke"(?) that was always full... not too trust/confidence-building, IMHO. Simply creating a business-name-mentioning outgoing message and clearing out some voicemail storage space so that people could leave a message would make good business sense... again, IMHO.
