FineRepast and the gang headed over to Smith and Wollensky for some Easter brunch at Disneyland, i.e., Easton Shopping Center. It was actually a good day to go to Disneyland as all but the restaurants were closed. Although it was Easter at Easton, the rent still gots to be paid and Smith and Wollensky was open for bidnass offering everything from its brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Cha-ching!
Time for the movie quote of the week and we’re going back to our tried and true source. Regular viewers may be able to guess where I’m headed.
“That’s a pretty fucking good milkshake. I don’t know if it’s worth five dollars but it’s pretty fucking good.”
I ordered the four egg omelette built my way from the brunch menu. I remarked that the 4 egger was $15.50. Shazam! I was extremely curious to find out what a $15 omelette tasted like. Hey, that’s $3.50 an egg. No, that’s $3.725 an egg. I bet I could’ve bought four dozen eggs for that price. Let’s see what the mucho caro omeletto looked like:

Omelette du fromage chez S&W’s
It didn’t taste much better either.
Moving on then. We really went to S&W’s for the Filet Benedict Box. It was ordered with the bearnaise on the side but it came out with the bearnaise right on top. We sent it back. I think they rushed the second order as the filets and the eggs seemed a bit overdone.

Benedict Box
To sum up: I can’t say the same as Vincent Vega but we’ll give S&W another try later.

Here’s my thoughts on New Taco Tao:
“I drove over here after reading about it on the web. It’s a really dirty truck with a really dirty table. Forget it. ”
On the other hand, Taquikin Taqueria y Loncheria Movil, which is actually on Morse Rd, I said:
“Went back tonight for a couple more taco pastors and an order of refried beans. And tried the roasted jalapenos. They weren’t as hot as I imagined. Also had an orange soda. Very good food. Highly recommended!”
