Here’s my thoughts on New Taco Tao:

“I drove over here after reading about it on the web. It’s a really dirty truck with a really dirty table. Forget it. ”

On the other hand, Taquikin Taqueria y Loncheria Movil, which is actually on Morse Rd, I said:

“Went back tonight for a couple more taco pastors and an order of refried beans. And tried the roasted jalapenos. They weren’t as hot as I imagined. Also had an orange soda. Very good food. Highly recommended!”

Before the rest of you wander around Columbus looking for a taco truck – lost and in despair – check out the taco trucks Columbus website for maps, addresses and etc.

I have eaten at Taco Tao twice and it is a decent truck with a nice owner. There is a rave review about it on Columbus Underground. Taquikin is a good truck and among the first I went to. There have been online attempts to malign Taquikin and a few other trucks – some might be valid – many are not. So take a look at the Taco Trucks Columbus site, visit a few trucks and decide for yourself – but please don’t let this non review guide your thoughts on what a taco truck is or is not.
